My name is Miguel Harry, I’m a Colombian designer and artist based in Seattle, Washington.

I graduated from ArtCenter’s Product Design program in 2018. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of working with companies such as Gensler, Adidas, Google, Microsoft and Square.

During the week I work as an Industrial Designer and I spend my weekends doing tattoos out of a private studio. In my free time I can be found documenting objects and spaces; camera in hand.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

A:
Please note that I am only booking 4 weeks in advance. I will open my books at the end of each month and sometimes via instagram stories for last minute openings.

If my instagram bio shows that my books are open or you see a story with open spots, please shoot me a DM. Let me know that you have read my FAQs, otherwise I may not get back to you. I will message you back as soon as possible with a booking link.

Once I get back to you, please confirm the spot through the link provided as soon as possible since I can’t hold the appointments until you do so.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

A:  Most of my individual flash pieces range between $120-$275. My minimum for any appointment at the moment is $240 including tax. I don’t accept tips.

If you have a budget in mind, please let me know at the beginning of your appointment and we can figure out the right piece, size and placement to stay within your budget. If you’re getting multiple tattoos. most pieces will be within the price range listed above but some may go under or over depending on size, complexity and placement.

If you’d like to support my practice even further, I have art for sale which you can purchase at the time of your appointment.

Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TATTOOING?

A:
I am still fairly new to tattooing. My tattoo journey started on March 2022. I’m still learning and hope to still be learning and perfecting my skills for a long time. I am constantly trying to improve my linework and overall technique and I offer free touch ups for the first year if they are needed as your tattoo settles on your body.

Q: CAN I CHOOSE A FLASH PIECE BEFORE BOOKING?

A:
Short answer: No.

Long answer: I love to draw and I add pieces to my flash almost daily. I value spontaneity when it comes to collecting tattoos, therefore I ask you not to request specific flash pieces in advance. Instead I will ask you to take a look at the available flash a few days before your appointment and have a couple pieces in mind.

No pressure though, you’ll have time to look through the flash the day of. If you would really like something that has already been taken, I am open to making small variations (no re-draws).

If you grativate towards my work you will most likely find something, if nothing resonates with you, I will keep your deposit (for setup time, supplies, etc) and we can go our separate ways, no hard feelings :)

Q: DO YOU DO CUSTOM TATTOOS?

A: I do not, I work fairly strictly from my flash. All flash is drawn by me and it is non-repeatable. I love tattooing my flash because they are pieces that speak to me and I feel 100% connected to them.

I upload a few flash pieces to my instagram every other day, there is more flash to look through here as well as in person, the day of your appointment.

Q: WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

A: I work out of a private studio in Seattle, WA. My space is located in the West Seattle neighborhood, right off the West Seattle Bridge, or a 12 minute walk from the West Seattle Water Taxi Pier.

Both my tattoo studio and I are licensed in the state of Washington. I will share the exact address and directions in the confirmation email 2 days prior to our appointment.

If you booked an appointment and have not received address info 2 days prior please shoot me a DM on instagram.

Q: MY TATTOO NEEDS A TOUCH UP,  HOW CAN I BOOK ONE?

A: Please shoot me a DM at any time to schedule a touch. up, and I will try to make time for it ASAP. I suggest waiting ~4 weeks after our appointment to see how the tattoo settles on your skin. We can also touch up your tattoo at the end of a new appointment, just let me know in advance!

I want to make sure your tattoo looks great in the long run and that you’re stoked with it.

Q: CAN I BOOK FOR MULTIPLE TATTOOS IN ONE SESSION?

A: Of course, please select the “two-tattoo session” when using the booking link I provide you.

If no double sessions are available, please book a regular session and depending on time we can possibly do a second piece.

Q: CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME AND A FRIEND?

A: Yes! I really enjoy doing friend tattoo sessions. Please select the “friends tattoo session” option on the booking link I provide you. I will then reach out to you with a link for your friend to book through. Please let me know in advance if you would like to book for more than 2 people so I can set aside the right amount of time.

Q: CAN I HAVE YOUR WORK TATTOOED BY SOMEONE ELSE?

A: Short answer: No.

Long answer: Since I only tattoo things once, it is my promise to my clients that they are getting a one-of-a-kind piece of art on their body forever. I would like to keep that promise.

If you like any of my work and can’t get tattooed by me, it is ok to work with another artist to create a new tattoo inspired by my drawings but not traced or copied exactly.

Q: WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?

A: I use Triple Black Ink from Dynamic Color which is vegan and not tested on animals. I use Bio-based needle cartridges from Black Claw.

Most of my single-use supplies (ink caps, machine bags, gloves and barriers) are compostable. I am working everyday to reduce the amount of plastic waste in my practice.
